So, what if the world was launched into a state of anarchy? What if we all ran to our governments and asked them to protect us? What if we surrendered most of our free will in exchange for safety against anyone out to harm us, Americans? What if this lead to top secret government information and defense agencies becoming brokers for contract super killers? What if S.H.I.E.L.D. was directed to kill anything and everything that the US government considered a threat. What if the champion for SHIELD would then be Captain SHIELD, rather than Captain America?

What would become of all our Americana, our dreams, morality, cultures and families? They would be regulated by death and the regulation would be championed by Captain SHIELD.
