I have ideas. I daydream. I do. Many times, I have ideas for stories and think of the various formats these stories could be presented in. I think of possible movies and video games, but a lot of times, I think of possible children’s books.

One such idea involves these nondescript, furry balls and the various personal, academic and sociological questions they must encounter as they try to understand their world. The first of such a series I considered is called “Where is My Shadow?” I imagined the ball rolling around, looking various places and asking various other colored shapes about where its shadow could be.

I fear, however, that this is yet another idea that I will never set time aside to develop fully. Le sigh…
